Tourist Guide
The guide is a professional figure who has a background of art, archaeology, history or architecture and has an official license to be a guide in the territory for which he/she has taken exams for. For the guide service, the price is determined by how long the tour lasts (usually from a minimum of 3 to a maximum of 7 hours.) This is the touring time for which you pay for; no charge is applied during lunch break which can vary from a minimum of 30 minute to a maximum of 1 hour.

Transportation
Transportation is furnished by professionals only, with insurance, who are licensed to perform public transportation service. The limo-minibus-bus company charges depending on the type of vehicle, mileage and time.

Rates
The cost of the service is determined by the combination of the use of the guide and of the transportation. We can also offer a guide only (walking tours), or private transportation only (transfers and drives with no guidance). Sometimes private transportation is not necessary and we can take vantage of the public transportation service (busses, taxi cabs, subway).

Currency
All prices are expressed in Euro

Reservation
To reserve the private tours is necessary a deposit of 25 % of the total cost of the requested services to be paid in advance.
Payment of the deposit can be made by credit card: Amex, Visa, Mastercard, PayPal.

Payment of the balance
Payment of the balance after the end of the tour (clients leaving without paying will be legally pursued ).

Cancellation and refund policy
Cancellation 8 days before date of requested service: No Penalty.
Cancellation 1 week before date of requested service: 25 % penalty (the deposit).

In case of bad weather we can change the schedule and the itinerary of the tour to adjust it to the weather condition, but we can not cancel the tour: there is no refund for bad weather.

Rates do not include
Client's meals, food and beverage unless otherwise specified in the programs.
Entrance fees to museums or monuments unless otherwise specified in the programs.
Gratuities.

Lunch
We do calculate lunch break as part of the touring time. However, we consider a maximum time of 1 hour for lunch.
If you wish you can invite the guide to join you for lunch. In this case the food costs for the guide is of your care.

Discounts
Children younger then 8 years old are not charged.
10% discount is given to individual travelers.
